About Maya

Maya Sommer is a photographer based in Northern California. She studied at Bard College and UCLA, where she developed a foundation in art photography and a love for making images that feel personal, atmospheric, and a little unexpected.

Her work is drawn to people, places, and everyday moments, with a particular interest in natural light, color, texture, and the small details that give an image a sense of feeling and place. She is currently building a body of portrait, lifestyle, and editorial work.
